Chris is an active Major League Baseball umpire made his Big League debut in 2000. He worked his first World Series in 2016 and worked the Fall Classic again in 2020.  In addition, Chris has worked three World Baseball Classics and two MLB All-Star Games. In 2024, Chris was promoted to crew chief. He is a director at-large at UMPS CARE Charities.
