D.J. is an active Major League Baseball umpire who made his Major League Baseball debut in 2008. A native of DeWitt, Michigan, Reyburn played baseball for four seasons and football for two seasons at Hope College. He was selected to work the 2019 MLB All-Star Game, and in 2023, he was named to the crew for the World Series. He was voted in as President of UMPS CARE Charities in 2025.
