BOARD OF DIRECTORS
Fieldin Culbreth
Retired MLB Umpire/Director At Large
Fieldin is a retired MLB Umpire with quite a resume. He broke into the majors in 1993 and finished his career having been selected to work on three World Series crews (2008, 2012, 2018). “Cubby,” as he is known in umpire circles, was a pitcher and outfielder at the University of North Carolina-Charlotte and had never umpired until he went to umpire school. He retired following the 2021 season but continues to mentor Minor League Baseball Umpires. He is an active member of the UMPS CARE Charities Board of Directors and volunteered to mentor All-Star College Scholarship recipient Katherine Atkins (right), who was adopted later in life.
