Paul retired in July 2024 after spending 25 years as a Major League Baseball Umpire.  He was voted in as Vice President of UMPS CARE Charities after spending several years on the board as secretary. He is very involved with the organization’s All-Star College Scholarship Program, which provides $10,000 per year toward college expenses for children adopted later in life. Paul was part of the World Series crew in 2013 and has worked two All-Star Games. A Michigan native, Paul makes his home in Colorado where he takes time to support his church activities and the community at large. He created the Fairway to the Rockies Golf Tournament to support UMPS CARE in 2024, and the event continues to grow.
