ERIC COOPER MEMORIAL BOWLING TOURNAMENT
The legacy of MLB Umpire Eric “Coop” Cooper continues through an annual bowling tournament in Iowa. Proceeds from this event support our Official Leadership Program in which we are training teens right in Des Moines to learn umpiring skills on the field and leadership skills in the classroom. We are grateful to the continued support from the Cooper Family, the Iowa Cubs, The Iowa Foundation and past and future tournament sponsors!

This annual event takes place in January, at a date to be announced later, in Phoenix, Arizona.

FAIRWAY TO THE ROCKIES
SAVE THE DATE – THURSDAY, JUNE 11, 2026!!!
Super excited to host our 3rd Fairway to the Rockies event at the beautiful Red Hawk Ridge Golf Course in Castle Rock, Colorado! Hosted by retired MLB Umpire Paul Emmel, special guests have included NFL Hall of Famer Randy Gradishar, three-time Super Bowl champion Tom Ashworth, retired MLB Umpire Dale Scott and current MLB Umpire Alex MacKay. Proceeds support our All-Star College Scholarships for children adopted later in life, annual visits at Children’s Hospital Colorado, where local umpires brighten the day for 100 patients with Build-A-Bear joy, and ballpark experiences for local organizations at Colorado Rockies games!
