Build-A-Bear Furry Friends Delivered to Kids In Hospitals By UMPS CARE Since 2006!
The Holidays are a time for giving, and this year is no exception.
This holiday season, we’re raising funds to give Build-A-Bear® comfort to kids in hospitals.
Since 2006, Major League Baseball umpires have taken time out to deliver Build-A-Bear® Workshop furry friends, outfit choices, a baseball activity book and a smile to the bedside of critically ill children. Since the program began, UMPS CARE is proud to share that we have delivered more than 22,600 Build-A-Bear® stuffed toys to kids in hospitals.
Most of all, we provide joy, comfort and a friend to hug during challenging and often scary times.
The gift of a furry friend provides comfort and bolsters the emotional well being of young patients which supports their physical healing. Be part of a crew that delivers a little joy, hope and smiles to sick kids who truly need it!
