All of us at UMPS CARE Charities want to thank everyone for supporting our third annual East Coast Classic at the beautiful Westfields Golf Club in Clifton, Virginia!

Everyone – from the golfers who played in the tournament to our sponsors and to all of the volunteers who took the time to pitch in from the early-morning hours to the end of the day – made this event a HUGE SUCCESS.

We are grateful to everyone!

Proceeds from this event will be used to host the delivery of 100 Build-A-Bear furry friends, outfits, activity books and more to kids undergoing treatment at Children’s National Hospital in Washington, D.C., on October 26!

Huge thanks go to our event hosts – Major League Baseball umpires Brennan Miller and Chris Segal – both of whom hail from Northern Virginia and wanted to give back to the community.

We were thrilled to have MLB umpire Erich Bacchus on the links supporting the event, call-up umpire Ryan Wills as an event volunteer, several Minor League, college, high school and Little League umpires.

One of the highlights of the day was that retired MLB umpire Sam Holbrook participated in the event. (Sam even won our Mega Putt contest!)
